"Tuesday" is originally a poem by French photographer Maripol, published in her latest book MARIPOLA X. In the late 1970s Maripol moved to New York and began working with and documenting the downtown art scene, serving as inspiration and style muse for a young Madonna in addition to many others. Maripola X is a collection of her personal Polaroids, the raw and intimate shots that went into bedside drawers instead of the gallery. This is a music video/book trailer based on that poem and those photos, and the sensation of libertine freedom, youthful abandon, and personal metamorphosis they capture.
